The Certificate Course in Learning Support Assistant is a 2 month specialized program designed for aspiring LSA / Shadow Teachers. It equips you with the practical skills to support children with diverse learning needs and help them participate fully in the classroom.

You will learn to create a safe, inclusive learning environment, identify learning difficulties, and use adapted materials and evidence-based strategies through hands-on demonstrations and case studies. By the end, you will be able to help children overcome learning barriers, build social and emotional skills, and grow in independence and confidence.

This course is led by School Counsellors who head the Learning Support Assistant team, with experience in inclusive education and student mental health.
